Questions &
Honest Answers
Everything clients ask before, during and after we work together — answered plainly. If you don't see what you need, just ask.
About our services
4 questionsWhat services does Dexiway offer? +
We provide software development, branding & design, digital marketing, cybersecurity and AI automation — all under one roof.
Can I combine services from different categories? +
Absolutely — most of our larger engagements blend services. A typical platform build might combine software development, branding, and a security audit before launch. We'll scope it as a single integrated project rather than separate engagements.
Do you work with clients outside Ghana? +
Yes. While we're based in Accra and serve many West African clients, we work remotely with clients across Africa, Europe and the US. Communication and delivery cadence stay the same regardless of location.
What's the smallest project you take on? +
Our minimum engagement is around GH₵ 5,000 — typically a focused audit, brand sprint, or single-feature build. Below that, the discovery overhead outweighs the work itself and we're not a great fit for either party.
Pricing & quotes
4 questionsDo you offer fixed-price quotes or hourly billing? +
Most projects are fixed-price, scoped against a clear phased plan. For ongoing retainers (security monitoring, maintenance, ads management) we bill monthly. We don't do open-ended hourly engagements — they reward time, not outcomes.
When do I pay? +
Standard payment schedule is 40% to start, 40% at the agreed mid-point milestone, and 20% on delivery. Larger projects break this into more phases. We accept bank transfer, Paystack, and mobile money.
How is pricing determined? +
Pricing depends on project scope and complexity. We offer fixed packages for standard services and custom quotations for larger builds.
Are there hidden costs after launch? +
No. Every quote includes a written scope. If scope changes during the project we agree the cost upfront before any new work starts. Two months of post-launch bug fixes are always included free of charge.
Process & delivery
3 questionsHow often will I hear from you during a project? +
We hold a weekly working session with you at minimum — usually 30–60 minutes covering progress, blockers, and decisions needed. Between sessions you have direct WhatsApp access to your project lead.
How does the project process work? +
Every project follows a clear, phased process: discovery, planning, design, development, testing and deployment, with regular client checkpoints.
What if we need to change scope mid-project? +
It's normal — scope rarely survives first contact with reality. We'll discuss the change, agree the impact on timeline and cost in writing, and only proceed once you've approved. No surprise invoices, ever.
Security & data
2 questionsHow do you handle our data during a project? +
All client data is stored on encrypted infrastructure with access limited to the assigned project team. We sign NDAs by default, and on request we'll operate from segregated client environments. We never retain credentials longer than the engagement requires.
Is the code you ship security-reviewed? +
Yes. Every project we deliver passes through an internal security review checklist before handover — covering OWASP Top 10, authentication, session handling, input validation, and dependency vulnerabilities. For higher-stakes builds we recommend a separate independent audit.
Support & maintenance
3 questionsWhat support do I get after the project ends? +
Every project includes two months of free bug fixes and minor adjustments. Beyond that, we offer monthly maintenance retainers covering updates, security patches, hosting management and feature tweaks.
How quickly do you respond to support tickets? +
Maintenance clients get a response within 4 working hours for normal issues, and within 1 hour for critical incidents (site down, security alerts). All response times are documented in your maintenance agreement.
Do you provide post-launch support? +
Yes. Every project includes a support window, and we offer ongoing maintenance plans for continued updates and security.
Payments
2 questionsWhat payment methods do you accept? +
Local bank transfer, Paystack (cards, mobile money, bank), and for international clients PayPal or wire transfer. For payment plans on larger projects we can integrate with most accounting systems on request.
Do you issue invoices for VAT? +
Yes. We issue properly formatted invoices including VAT where applicable. For Ghana clients these are Ghana Revenue Authority compliant. For other jurisdictions we adapt the invoice format to your local requirements.
Maintenance
2 questionsCan you take over a project built by someone else? +
Yes, with a caveat — we'll need a short paid audit phase first (typically 1–2 weeks) to assess the codebase, identify risks, and quote the takeover honestly. We've inherited many projects this way and it's often the most pragmatic path forward.
Do maintenance plans include feature work? +
Smaller maintenance plans cover bug fixes and minor adjustments only. Larger plans include a monthly feature-work allowance — useful for clients who want ongoing iterative improvements rather than batched releases.
